Twilight Gives Perfect Response to Robert Pattinson as Batman

Reports of Robert Pattinson being cast in Matt Reeves' The Batman got the internet buzzing, in both a good and bad way. There still seem to be a lot of people who aren't pleased with the actor as Bruce Wayne due to his history with Twilight, which isn't fair since those movies came out a decade ago. However, the Twitter account of the infamous franchise responded to these reports in the best way possible.

The Twitter account simply said "#TeamBruce?" which is an amazing response. Fans will remember the constant Team Edward/Team Jacob debates that dominated conversations that teenage girls used to have. Seeing this Twitter account have a sense of humor is pretty great and should get fans to lay off.

Fans who are upset with the casting should really check out Pattinson's post-Twilight career since he has worked hard to separate himself from those movies. Movies like Good Time showed just how good he can be with acting and it will be interesting to see what he brings to the table for Matt Reeves' The Batman.

We'll have to wait and see if Pattinson does a good job with the character, though fans should really relax since there will always be new actors who play the DC icon. It would be nice if Pattinson stayed in the role for a long time but let's see how he does with one movie.

The Batman comes out on June 25, 2021.
