Second Shazam! Trailer Shows That Billy Needs Some Serious Training

After months of asking, Warner Bros. And DC have finally released a new trailer for April's Shazam. Running at two minutes, this trailer gives fans a ton of new footage and promises a good time to be had. It also shows that Billy Batson needs some serious training to be a better superhero and that Mark Strong's Doctor Savanah is a threat that shouldn't be taken lightly.

We see Billy get his powers from the wizard again but everything after that is new footage. We get to see Billy turn into the character formerly known as Captain Marvel while midair and it looks awesome. This is a movie that we're all hoping will break expectations.

There are also a number of neat gags that fans will appreciate, including a toy of Batman that simply says "I'm Batman." Does the Michael Keaton Batman exist in this universe? We also get to see the "grown-up" Shazam trying to buy beer, which is awkward on purpose. The final scene also shows how Billy needs to keep his powers in check since he almost causes an accident with a bus (though he did catch it in the end).

After the film's title is shown, we also try to see if Billy can leap tall buildings in a single bound. He can't. He's no Superman.

Shazam comes out on April 5.
