It's a good time for fans of Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War! The third season of the anime was recently announced, and the manga returned this week with Chapter 229 after a short hiatus.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War Overview and Chapter 229Recap
Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is a romantic comedy manga by Aka Akasaka. The story starts off following Miyuki Shriogane, the gifted school president, who works alongside talented vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya. Both are extremely smart individuals and everyone thinks they would be a great couple.
Our main characters happen to think so too- but only privately. As they are both overachievers who avoid showing their true emotions, each tries to make the other confess; through their elaborate plans to make this possible, their love becomes a true battlefield. When the two finally end up together, the show focuses on their relationship, as well as theirs and other characters' problems.
As of Chapter 229, Miko Iino has come to terms with her romantic feelings for Ishigami. Unfortunately for her, he continues to bond with his online friend Koromo, who also happens to be their classmate, over their love for online games.
Iino feels extra insecure, as she's no gamer, and, therefore, she can't impress Ishigami with her knowledge, or even understand the jargon he and Koromo use. Iino's interests revolve more around student council activities, so this is where she goes for help.
Miyuki suggests that she could ask Ishigami to teach her about games, but Iino thinks this would be like admitting her jealously about this bond with Koromo. Miyuki believes that if Iino and Ishigami play games together, they could bond easily, and even start a romantic relationship.
When Iino refuses to ask Ishigami to teach her, Miyuki introduces Iino to an unlikely teacher; his dad, an avid gamer. The two play games together, and Iino even loses sleep, so that she can catch up. Eventually, Papa Shirogane understands that Iino got into games to impress the boy she likes, but doesn't reproach her for that, as he thinks it's normal.
Iino gets better at gaming and even defeats Papa Shirogane. Things, however, get complicated when Koromo finds out about the gaming sessions and thinks that Iino got a sugar daddy. How would Ishigami react to such a rumor?
Kaguya-Sama: Love is War Chapter 230 Release Date
Kaguya-sama: Love is War Chapter 230 is scheduled to be released next Friday, the 8th of July, or Thursday, July 7, depending on your timezone. From there on, the manga will hopefully resume its weekly schedule.
