Check Out Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Flashpoint Batman Replacing Bruce Wayne In New Art

While fans have come to love Ben Affleck's rendition of the Dark Knight in Warner Brother's DC Extended Universe, the actor has long since confirmed that he'd be hanging up his cape, letting go of his role as Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeve's The Batman.

Of course, the announcement didn't come entirely as a surprise. For the past few years, there have been various reports swinging between Affleck staying in the DCEU and Affleck leaving the franchise after the disappointment brought on about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the cinematic flop that was Justice League.

Once word came out that Affleck was retiring, fans couldn't help but throw around names of potential replacements, and one of the most popular picks was Jefferey Dean Morgan who starred as Thomas Wayne in Batman V Superman.

Now, Digital artists Bryan Fiallos imagines what Morgan would look like if he played the Flashpoint version of Batman in a new art piece.

Check it out in the post below:

For those who aren't familiar with the story, the Flashpoint timeline is an alternate timeline accidentally created by the Flash when he tries to save his mother. In this timeline, it's Bruce Wayne who gets killed by robbers, not his parents. In the wake of his death, Bruce's father, Thomas, becomes Batman. His mother, in turn, becomes the Joker.

It's very unlikely that Morgan will play the Flashpoint Batman in Matt Reeve's movie though, because while most of the plot details for The Batman are under wraps, word has it that the film will feature a younger Bruce Wayne.

The Batman premieres June 25, 2021.
