With Delicious in Dungeon continuing to get a lot of attention this season, the series is increasingly becoming the next big IP for game crossovers. Just recently, Arknights revealed a Delicious in Dungeon video game crossover that will add a fan-favorite character from the show.
This was announced during the game’s recent 5th anniversary stream in China. While the full details have yet to be revealed, fans are already getting excited about the new collab.
Arknights 5th Anniversary Stream Reveals Delicious in Dungeon Crossover
For many anime fans, Arknights may be known as a TV anime by Yostar Pictures that has already gotten two seasons.
It’s not just an anime though as it is based on the hit gacha game that features tower defense elements. While the game was released worldwide back in January 2020, it was initially launched in China in May 2019.
As May 2024 marks the game’s fifth anniversary in China, a special four-hour livestream happened yesterday, April 27. There, lots of upcoming updates were revealed, along with the Delicious in Dungeon crossover.
Given that Arknights features a futuristic setting, a collab with Delicious in Dungeon is no doubt unexpected. After all, Trigger’s new anime is more of a classic fantasy show.
Even if it’s not as fitting to the world of Arknights as something like Kaiju No. 8, the crossover still got a lot of fans excited thanks to it’s main addition.

Senshi Is Coming to Arknights as a Playable Character
In the game’s subreddit, lots of fans are talking about the addition of Senshi as a playable character in the upcoming crossover.
Senshi’s addition to the game as a new operator was revealed with a new visual shown during the stream. Instead of getting more futuristic gear though, Senshi appears as he does in the anime, complete with his trusty cooking pan.
It’s not clear yet what Senshi’s abilities will be. There’s also no word on other characters or in-game items that will be added as part of the collab.

When Will the Delicious in Dungeon X Arknights Collab Be Released?
For now, there’s also no word on a release date for the crossover. Given that it has only been revealed in the Chinese livestream, this collab will first be released in China soon.
As for the game’s international versions, fans may need to wait a couple of months or so given the delay between the Chinese and worldwide releases of new updates.
That is if the collab will be released internationally. After all, some Arknights collabs were only made available in China.
