Akira Toriyama’s Iconic Characters Return in Sand Land: The Series
Beelzebub, the Demon Prince, said to be the most dangerous demon in the world according to Thief, returns in SAND LAND: THE SERIES.
He is the Prince of the Underworld who has a habit of raiding water transports to give to both humans and demons alike.
Aside from Beelzebub, Thief returns in the new Sand Land series. He is a much older demon with a knack for stealing various goods, machinery, and more.
Beelzebub also believes that he is extremely intelligent and adept at looting.
Sheriff Rao also returns to seek Beelzebub's help in his attempt to find the legendary Phantom Lake to help solve the desert's water scarcity.
He plays an important role in the story, and there is more to him than meets the eye.
Meanwhile, the series' villains reappear, most notably General Zeu, who uses the King as a puppet for his malicious activities.

Who Are the New Characters in SAND LAND: THE SERIES?
SAND LAND: THE SERIES introduces new characters, whether good or bad, beginning with episode 7, as it adapts Toriyama's Angelic Heroes Arc (The Story of the Angel Hero).
The first of these new characters is Muniel the Hero, a disgruntled angel with an egg-shaped haircut.
He claims to be the hero of Forest Land, but in reality, he and General Bred are attempting to revive the weapons of the Great War through rapid militarization.
Unlike other angels from the Celestial World, Muniel appears in the human world without wings, which he blames on devils such as Beelzebub.
He first encounters Beelzebub in the market, unaware of his exploits in Sand Land.
Meanwhile, a new character named Ann appears, claiming to be a member of the Resistance who opposes General Bred and Muniel the Hero's actions in Forest Land.
In episode 7, Beelzebub rescues Ann from a mechanical flying thing that took her aquanium. She has a pretentious attitude that continuously irritates Beelzebub.
