7th Time Loop began back in February 2020 as a web novel on the self-publishing Shosetsuka ni Naro platform. Later that year, the series got picked up as a light novel, and it also got a manga adaptation.

For those wondering where to get started, series creator Touko Amekawa shared a handy guide on her personal X (formerly Twitter) account regarding what the anime covered in the manga and light novel.

This is an interesting move from Amekawa, though it makes sense given how active she has been on X, to the point that she regularly shares messages with fans in various languages.

Based on the guide, the 7th Time Loop anime covers part of the manga’s 31st chapter. This means fans should begin reading from chapter 31 if they pick up the manga to find out what happens next to Rishe and Arnold.

Meanwhile, the anime neatly covers the first two volumes of the light novel. Thus, anime-only fans should read the light novel beginning in volume 3.
