What is the Role of Keanu Reeves in Constantine 2?
Deadline confirmed that Constantine 2 will be happening and the supernatural action movie will have its sequel under Warner Bros. Aside from that, it is also sure that Francis Lawrence to direct once more. Keanu Reeves will be reprising his iconic role as John Constantine.
John Constantine, from the DC comics Hellblazer, is a cynical and cursed demonologist who could communicate with the half-demons and half-angels even if they are in their true forms. He could travel back and forth through Hell and Earth.
Keanu Reeves played John Constantine in the 2005 film Constantine where the character pertains himself to be a mortal sin damned to rot in Hell for trying to kill himself whilst having terminal lung cancer.

Constantine 2 will have Francis Lawrence back to the director's chair to helm the sequel which will be penned by Akiva Goldsman who will also be the producer of the sequel alongside other executive producers such as J.J. Abrams, Lorenzo DiBonaventura, Erwin Stoff, and Hanna Minghella.
The confirmation of Constantine 2 happening under Warner Bros. comes with the news from Variety that the Constantine series in the works under HBO Max will not push through anymore.
Speaking of HBO Max, the 2005 Constantine film is currently available to stream on the platform for those who would want to look back on the first film before the sequel arrives soon.
There is no release date yet for Constantine 2. Other cast members such as Rachel Weisz, Peter Stormare, Djimon Hounsou, and more, are still unsure whether they will be returning for the sequel.
