Takemichi, Chifuyu, and Hakkai are at the competition to support Mitsuya. Meanwhile, backstage, Mitsuya is getting his competition pieces ready with the help of his club from high school. He thanks the club members for their help, and shortly after, it's finally his turn to show off his work.
Mitsuya's theme is Twin Dragons, which is inspired by Draken. The judges are visibly impressed, and Mitsuya wins the award. When he appears on stage to make a speech, he comes out wearing his Toman uniform and a new hairstyle showing off his tattoo that's similar to Draken's. The audience begins whispering to each other, wondering if Mitsuya is a gang member.
In his speech, Mitsuya thanks them for the award and proceeds to talk about how a certain junior of his approached him and told him that he's going to fight an old friend. Mitsuya looks at Takemichi and asks if he can come, surprising Takemichi.
After that, Mitsuya tells everyone that he's rejecting the award, shocking his friends and the audience. He bows and apologizes to everyone, but the judges are angry. Everyone starts throwing objects towards Mitsuya. However, he says that the award doesn't matter if one leaves his friends behind for it.

At the D&D Motorcycle Shop, Takemichi and Hakkai are talking about how to break the news to Chifuyu regarding the group's design. When Chifuyu walked in, the two started panicking because they couldn't bear to tell the truth about Chifuyu's fashion sense. However, it looks like Chifuyu was thinking about Mitsuya.
Chifuyu, Takemichi, Inupi, and Hakkai meet up with Mitsuya. Chifuyu asks Mitsuya to be the group's advisor since Chifuyu is inexperienced. Mitsuya agreed and told them that he would redesign everything. While Takemichi and Hakkai looked happy about it, Chifuyu reacted differently since he's been thinking about design ideas for the group.
Mitsuya mentions that they need to be more serious now. Pahchin, Pehyan, Angry, and Smiley also join the group. When Mitsuya asked Takemichi if he had anyone else to invite in mind, Takemichi contacts Takeomi to get a hold of Senju. However, Senju feels defeated by everything that happened. Takemichi doesn't understand Senju and Takeomi's conversation, but Senju reveals her past. It turns out that Mikey, Baji, Sanzu, and Senju are childhood friends.
