It seems the reveal of upcoming 2024 anime isn’t stopping anytime soon. Recently, another new series was announced, and it’s the MMO isekai The New Gate, which is getting an anime adaptation next year.
This new anime was revealed via the newly opened official website and X (formerly Twitter) account. No teaser trailer was released yet, but the show did get its first key visual featuring three main characters.
Along with this, character visuals were also shared along with the three main voice cast members.
The New Gate Main Cast Members and Visuals Unveiled
Every new season, anime fans can count on new or returning isekai. That will also be the case in 2024 as there are already lots of isekai scheduled to air such as Tales of Wedding Rings and As a Reincarnated Aristocrat.
Another isekai that is joining them is The New Gate, an MMORPG isekai fantasy series in the vein of popular titles like Sword Art Online.
Fans may have to wait a bit longer for a trailer, but the anime at least shared its main voice cast members.
Playing the role of the main character Shinya Kiritani is Kensho Ono, a popular VA who is best known for voicing Giorno Giovanna in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Canute in Vinland Saga, and Yuri Briar in Spy x Family.
Joining Ono is Asami Seto as Schnee Raizar. Seto is another popular VA whom fans should know as Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen and Raphtalia in The Rising of the Shield Hero.
Rounding out the main cast is Kaede Hondo as Tiera Lucent. Hondo is also the voice actress of Hitomi Mishima in Hinamatsuri and Maple in Bofuri.

The New Gate Anime Confirmed to Release in 2024
The New Gate’s story follows Shin, the most skilled player of “The New Gate”, an online life-or-death game. Thanks to Shin’s defeat of the game’s last boss, he seems to finally be on the cusp of escape.
But that doesn't turn out to be the case, as Shin is blinded by a flash of light and soon awakens in the game’s world 500 years later. Thus, a new adventure begins for Shin.
Working on the anime adaptation is Yokohama Animation Lab (The Kingdoms of Ruin) in collaboration with Cloud Hearts (The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World).
The New Gate anime is set to premiere sometime in 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on a release window or an international streaming partner.
