The Batman: More Details on the ‘Multiple Villains’ in the Film

Matt Reeves' The Batman is starting to move forward, and it's been said that the film will feature a "Rogues Gallery" of villains. We don't know what capacity each antagonist is going to appear in, but we now have an idea of what to expect.

According to Forbes' Mark Hughes:

So far, the only named villain that's said to be coming to the film is the Penguin. The main antagonist is still unnamed as of now, but a lot of people are guessing that it's either Hush or maybe the Court of Owls.

If anything, the casting director for the film is going to have a tough job. Even if some villains are only appearing for cameos, the actors cast better bring their A-game if WB decides to put them in the spotlight in the future. Batman has the most infamous villain roster in the DCEU, and whoever gets cast is sure to generate a lot of buzz.

For now, The Batman is said to be aiming a production start later in the year with a release date set for 2021. We don't know who this younger Batman is going to be played by yet, but a lot of names have been popping up from Armie Hammer to Robert Pattinson. Let's hope they cast someone who could do justice to the amazing performance Ben Affleck gave us.

Catch The Batman in theaters June 25, 2021.
