Skip and Loafer follows Iwakura’s journey as she moves out of her home with dreams of changing the world.

However, she is so laser-focused on achieving her goals that she does not realize the beauty of living in a city as big as Tokyo.

Fortunately, she ends up becoming friends with Sousuke Shima, a handsome boy with a laid-back attitude.

Skip and Loafer Episode 1 is scheduled to air on April 4, 2023, in all regions, including the US, the UK, Europe, and Japan.

The anime is based on the manga of the same name by Misaki Takamatsu. The Skip and Loafer manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine since August 2018.

Skip and Loafer Episode 1 will be available to watch on Crunchyroll. Meanwhile, Aniplus Asia has announced that it will stream the school-life comedy anime in select regions in Asia.

In Japan, Skip and Loafer Episode 1 will be broadcast on Tokyo MX, Hokuriku Asahi Broadcasting, AT-X, Kansai Telecasting Corporation, and BS Asahi.

The Skip and Loafer anime is produced by studio P.A. Works while Kotomi Deai is credited for the series' direction and composition.

Manami Umeshita is handling the character design while e-caesar is the art director. Manami is also sharing the duties of chief animation director with Reina Igawa.

The music for Skip and Loafer is composed by Takatsugu Wakabayashi. The opening theme song titled Mellow is performed by Keina Suda.

On the other hand, Rikako Aida performed the ending theme song titled Hanauta to Mawari Michi (Humming and Detour).
