Sasaki and Peeps is a winter 2024 anime that may not have gotten much mainstream attention, but it has no doubt gained a dedicated following. This is thanks to its interesting twists to the isekai genre.
This series follows the salaryman Sasaki who visits a pet shop and takes home a cute bird from a pet store.
Soon, he discovers that this bird is a sage from another world which then gives him the ability to travel between worlds.
While he has a powerful new ability, Sasaki only wishes to use this power to make his daily life more comfortable. Alas, his wishes don’t come true as characters from another world soon make their way to Earth.
Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 Revealed at AnimeJapan 2024
AnimeJapan 2024 saw lots of big announcements, and among them was the reveal of Sasaki and Peeps season 2.
Along with the announcement came the reveal of an upcoming fan event for the series, which will take place on July 6, 2024.
For now, there are no details on what the upcoming event will be about. Given that events like these typically feature special appearances, the show’s voice cast will likely attend.

Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 Release Date Predictions
As for a release date, there’s no word yet on a premiere window for Sasaki and Peeps season 2.
With the upcoming July event scheduled, chances are that a release date or at least a release window will be announced there.
What can be said for certain is that the new season won’t premiere in the middle of 2024. It’s more likely that the series will get a new season in 2025 to give the show’s staff time to work on the continuation.
