But then again, it's also fun at the same time — since you're exploring the mysteries of your world inside a giant mecha, after all. If you're interested in watching a sci-fi series with a wholesome touch, then you might want to check out Sakugan.
Sakugan is the anime adaptation of Nekotarō Inui's novel titled Sakugan Labyrinth Marker. The novel won runner-up in the Science-Fiction/Robot category of DeNA, Sotsu, and Bunka Housou's Project Anima in 2018. Sakugan premiered last October 2021 as part of the year's fall anime season.
With that being said, will there be an English dub of Sakugan? Here's everything we know so far.
Sakugan English Dub: What Is the Anime About?
Sakugan follows the story of a single dad named Gagumber and his 9-year-old daughter, Memenpu. In this setting, humanity now lives in the depths of the underground, called the Labyrinth. Within the Labyrinth are multiple areas called Colonies — most likely the equivalent of a city or town. Gagumber and Memenpu make a living out of mining, which is considered the lowest-ranking job there is.
Memenpu is a young genius who has already graduated college and possesses multiple doctorates. In her dreams, she often sees a tower located in a mysterious place that she doesn't know about but wants to learn more about it. Because of this, she dreams of becoming a Marker — explorers of the Labyrinth who map out undiscovered areas. Considering the potential risks and dangers of this job, Gagumber initially doesn't allow Memenpu to take on this deadly job.
However, knowing Memenpu's curious and ever-growing mind, Gagumber decides to tag along on her journey so he can watch over her. And so, the father and daughter's journey to explore the Labyrinth begins.
Sakugan English Dub: Will There Be One and When Will It Release?
Some good news for the fans! The first episode of the Sakugan English dub was released on November 18, 2021. The series is also being dubbed in Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Russian. You can watch the series on Crunchyroll and VRV.

Sakugan English Dub: Cast and Everything You Need to Know
For the English dub, Anne Yatco (Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen) is playing the role of Memenpu while Chris Smith plays the role of Gagumber (Megicula in Black Clover). The voiceover director for the series is Kirstie Simone.
