Here’s What Happened Before My Hero Academia Chapter 380
Hopes is the title of My Hero Academia Chapter 379, and it begins at Central Hospital shortly after Kurogiri was activated.
In the midst of the chaos, everyone was working together to get the injured inside the hospital, whether they were friends or foes because the rain was coming down hard.
At the time, a recuperating Lady Nagant intends to go where the enemy is despite her fatal injuries, but the problem is that she has no idea where they are.
Given that she was an escaped convict, the doctor also refused to reveal the location of the adversaries.
However, Lady Nagant, in reality, only wants to fight alongside Deku on the battlefield.
Fortunately, Rock Lock appears to accept full responsibility for Lady Nagant's actions and assures the doctor that she is free to go.
He also gave Lady Nagant information about UA's location and the positions of the enemies to assist her.
Most importantly, Rock Lock informs Lady Nagant that the heroes' full mobilization is dependent on their faith in Deku, so if her heart is telling her to act for the young boy, he will trust her.
In the present time, atop the hospital, Lady Nagant has only one more shot after successfully shooting Shigaraki, despite the huge recoil from her injuries.
She remembers being stained by darkness and losing faith in the light until Deku and Hawks came along and reminded her of her bright and shining hopes, as well as her reason for being.
Lady Nagant pulls the trigger, putting everything on the line to reach Deku as the bullet blows off Shigaraki's arm.
All For One screams in agony inside Shigaraki, feeling the pain caused by Lady Nagant's bullet.
He refers to Lady Nagant as disposable trash because, after murdering her fellow heroes, she plays the victim like some noble agent of justice when, in reality, she is a pathetic pushover who drifts in whatever direction the wind blows.
All of a sudden, Shigaraki's fingers appear from All For One's mouth.
Shigaraki laughs at All For One because of his failure to manipulate Lady Nagant's emotions and history.
He also mocks All For One, claiming that he deserves it because he was always sticking his hand where it didn't belong.
While All For One may be able to hijack his body and soul and use his burning rage to take One For All, Shigaraki reveals that he hid his own core deep within his soul.
Unbeknownst to All For One, Shigaraki gradually reclaims himself from within, assisting his origin to follow that path.
As a result, All For One calls out to Kurogiri, informing him that he is not in control of Shigaraki's body, which is why he needs to warp him to his other self.
However, Kurogiri's thoughts are jumbled as he stutters, repeating the same line over and over that he will protect Shigaraki, while Oboro's personality resurfaces.
Shigaraki declares that he has no need for One For All, and asks All For One if he truly believes he has everything under control, including himself.
Unlike the other villains, Shigaraki reveals that his heart is unwavering and that everything he witnessed in the world led to the existence of the house he grew up in.
Just like that, Shigaraki separates himself from All For One, declaring that he only has one hope as Shigaraki Tomura and Tenko Shimura, and that is the destruction of everything stemming from that house.
Quickly, Shigaraki looked Deku in the eyes and told him that his only hope would also be his saving grace.
That's when Deku grabs Shigaraki, allowing both of them to fall out of UA, much to Gentle and Lemillion's surprise.
Deku realizes he can't afford to fight atop that tomb now that Shigaraki has regained his quirks.
Before the chapter ends, Deku declares that he can't let Shigaraki do whatever he wants, but he also can't pretend that he didn't notice him crying in there.

The heroes maintain their lead over the villains as La Brava creates a new security program for U.A. to keep it from floating, while Gentle does his best to support her, holding Twice's clones at bay.
Their momentum is short-lived, however, as Eraserhead falls from U.A. and is sucked into another portal alongside Present Mic.
This simply means that there are fewer people on the battlefield to hold Twice's clones.
In Gunga, on the other hand, All For One attempts to flee in order to fix his messed-up plan with Shigaraki's body.
However, Hawks is quick enough to stop him from doing so!
