Meanwhile, Reg has lost his way back to the village inn where they stayed. Worse, the turbinid dragon, which can read his every move, is pursuing him.
Aside from chipping a piece of his arm off, it also attacks him with vomit. Fortunately, Reg was saved by Gaburoon's Interference Unit.
According to Gaburoon, whenever Reg is present, the place falls into ruin. It also wants Reg to leave the village as soon as possible because it can't stop Faputa for some reason.
Despite his confusion, Reg followed Gaburoon back to Riko and Nanachi. Along the way, Gaburoon revealed some new information to Reg.
Faputa, according to Gaburoon, tested Reg to see if he was the real him by sending beast deterrents on their way to the village.
Gaburoon also told Reg that he stopped looking for Faputa once he reached the Shourou Layer. Despite knowing everything, Gaburoon has no idea what kind of interference unit Reg is.
An interference unit observes and touches to gather information. They are also placed in each layer of the abyss. However, transmission ceases to exist over time.
They might have malfunctioned or been taken. Further, the interference unit doesn’t cross layers, unlike Reg.
However, Gaburoon stated that Reg's design is similar to his. Despite this, Gaburoon had no idea who created them. Reg is the only one who can cross the layers of the abyss, so it is up to him to solve the mystery.
Meanwhile, Riko met Wazukyan in the restaurant. According to Moogie, the three sages built the Iruburu Village, where Riko is now.
After eating, Riko stayed behind to ask Moogie about the language spoken by every hollow in the village.
According to Moogie, their language has a large number of words in which many actions and names are combined.
Riko later remembered that she was looking for Reg and Nanachi.
Moogie suspected that Reg and Nanachi investigated on the outskirts of the village, where no hollow had ever entered.
Beyond the sacrifice hole, there's a place called "Doguupu" where hollows instinctively feel beat down.
According to legend, the secret of the hollow village is hidden in Doguupu, where no hollow can go all the way inside.
Riko decided to go down the hole. She discovers all of the gooey things she witnessed during the balancing event.
She also discovered Vueko, a human girl who is enamored with everything sticky in the hole.
Riko inquired about Vueko's character. Despite Vueko's belief that she was a bad guy, Riko was unconcerned about it.
Vueko claims she was opposed to the creation of the village, which explains why she was kept in the dark. However, she believes that the village, despite its bad beginnings, is a better place now.
After all, children with distorted physical bodies were able to remain in the village with their souls. Riko then freed Vueko from the slimy things that were holding her body back.
Riko also assisted Vueko in climbing the hole with the help of Maa-san. Vueko led Riko and Maa-san to Belaf's house in the village because Nanachi was there.
On the contrary, Vueko is unable to enter Belaf's house because it would be disastrous if the other hollows discovered her escape.
Riko saw the unconscious Nanachi hugging Mitty in Belaf's house. It turns out, Nanachi sold itself to Belaf in exchange for Mitty.
Belaf uses Mitty to absorb her body because it never runs out. Nanachi sacrificed herself instead after seeing Mitty's condition.
According to Majikaja, Nanachi's haku is Mitty. The hollow also apologized to Riko for accompanying Nanachi to Belaf. Riko then inquired about what she could offer in exchange for Nanachi and Mitty.
Belaf informs Riko that the masked man, Bondrewd, has given him Mitty.
Mitty, according to Belaf, is immortal. That's why he decided to give up 724 of his limbs, including sensory organs, to compensate for Mitty.
He has successfully replicated Mitty in the village, even her soul has been copied. While Mitty offered him everything, he asked Riko what she would offer.
Belaf demanded Riko's entire body, but the latter decided to make a counter-offering.
Unfortunately, Belaf did not accept Riko's offer and instead presented Riko with three options.
Riko would have to choose between having both of her eyes, both of her legs, or half of her internal organs sold! Riko, what will you do?
