Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible is a manga series by Nene Yukimori that began serialization in October 2019.

The manga gained a sizeable international fanbase, thanks in large part to being released weekly for free on Manga Plus.

Its popularity recently got a boost thanks to an anime series adaptation by Pine Jam which starred popular voice actors Kengo Kawanishi (Gen Asagiri in Dr. Stone) and Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri Kanroji in Demon Slayer).

While the anime’s initial episodes gained even more fans for the series, viewers were disappointed when the show’s seventh episode and beyond were delayed to the Spring 23 season.

In the ongoing Winter 23 season, lots of anime were delayed, including the likes of Ayakashi Triangle and NieR: Automata Ver1.1a. Pretty much all of these delays were blamed on the spread of COVID-19.

While some of the delayed anime shows came back within the season, Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible wasn’t as lucky.

It was instead decided that the entire series will re-air from the beginning in April 2023.

While some romance titles have more dramatic elements, Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible is firmly in the comfy romance genre. This makes it a great palate cleanser after reading dark and dramatic titles.

Given its end, some fans were sad to see it conclude while others were happy that it got the conclusion that the author wanted.

As expected with these kinds of titles, the manga ended with an adorable confession of love.

However, there were some complaints about how it would’ve been better if the series didn’t end abruptly after the confession.

For fans who were disappointed, they’ll be happy to know that an epilogue chapter will be released on April 18 in the manga’s 12th volume.

There’s not much info about the upcoming epilogue, but it is confirmed to take place after the final chapter’s events.

Here’s hoping that the chapter shows the two main characters, Kubo and Shiraishi, actually dating.
