At the end of the previous chapter, after Erioh makes his ultimate sacrifice to take down Edward Wu, and after an intense exchange of blows between Kure Raian and Ed, Raian slices off Edward Wu's neck, but is the powerful villain already dead?
Update: Now that Kengan Omega Chapter 145 has been released, here are major spoilers: The title of the new chapter is The Beginning, and it starts off with Edward Wu acknowledging his defeat, and warning Kure Raian that this is just the beginning of a "massive party". Kure Hollis and Kure Reiichi look hurt but not in critical condition.
Raian tells Ed to "Shut up and die!" as he gives the finishing blow on his head. Ed is dead on the ground, and Hollis tells Raian to give himself a rest.
Wu Xing takes out his pendant with a photo of his master, and says that Edward Wu is dead, and that his master's spirit may find repose.
Kure Karura and Tokita Ohma arrive in the scene, and Tokita looks shocked to see Kure Erioh dying. Erioh asks Karura about the Worms hiding in the arena, and Karura tells him that most of them have been captured, to which Erioh responds, "All is well then."
Kure Fusui appears, and Ohma asks her if she knew about Erioh's decision, and Karura says that the old man already made up his mind. Erioh tells Ohma to tread carefully because his hunch tells him that Ohma is contending with a foe beyond him.
Erioh tells Raian that he wouldn't listen to him if he told him to stay out of it Erioh says that Raian he couldn't beat Edward Wu by himself, and that he needs to improve to surpass himself, to which Raian cursed him for being the last to lecture.
Ohma tells Erioh that he can't give up yet, and that he will call Hana-Fusa to save him, but the old man says it's too late, and wishes him the best.
Muteba Ginzega meets Mikazuchi Rei and Hatsumi Sen, and Muteba says that he's surprised to see them. Mikazuhi says that he has unapid debut to the Kure and the Wu, and says that the Worm would threaten the order of the underworld if left unchecked. Tokita meets them, and Muteba jokingly asks if he will get any bonus for combat, and Ohma says no.
Meanwhile, Katahara Metsudo receives a report, and Katahara Retsudo asks his father if there's anything wrong. Metsudo says that Nogi's sorted everything out, so he's taking his leave.
Hollis says that the Westward Faction isn't dead yet, and that according to the investigation, there were five members of the faction with Wu Hei's personality, so that means there's one last Wu Hei. Ultimately, this means war with the Westward Faction.
Kureishi Mitsuya and Narushima Joji apparently badly beat up Xia Ji, but he was able to escape without them noticing.
Hayami Katsumasa, Chairman of Toyo Electric Power Co., received a report form one of their spies. Hayami's guardian Koi Yamagata tells him that Kure Erioh died in combat with Edward Wu. Katsumasa says to keep monitoring the situation while Hayami Miyasaki is dressing up near him.
Katsumasa says that piece of trash is finally dead, and he looks insanely happy to hear the news. Miyasaki says that he will have the last laugh and that the Kengan Association will finally be his. He calls his father, and says that he's a maggot, and that they should end it.
It looks like this chapter marks the beginning of a new arc about the war between the Kengan Association and the Westward Faction.
Kengan Omega Chapter 145: When will the latest chapter come out?
Kengan Omega is a weekly scheduled manga, so the English version of Chapter 145 is expected to release on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, around noon time EST. Kengan Omega Chapter 143 was released last week around the same schedule, so expect Chapter 145 to be released around the same time.
