Kaiju No. 8 Is Getting a Simuldub Release on Crunchyroll

All eyes are on Kaiju No. 8 as the show promises to be one of the big anime of the upcoming season. Ahead of its premiere, Crunchyroll announced that Kaiju No. 8 is getting a simuldub release.

Recently, Crunchyroll announced its release schedule for this highly anticipated kaiju anime.

Along with its simultaneous release across the world, Crunchyroll also revealed that the English dub will be released at the same time.

Kaiju No. 8 Is Shaping up to Be the Big Action Anime of Spring 2024

Spring 2024 is shaping up to be another big season, with shows such as Demon Slayer and KonoSuba getting new seasons.

As for the big new titles, Kaiju No. 8 is a potential highlight of the season. After all, it’s a new action anime by Production I.G, the studio behind popular anime such as Haikyuu and Heavenly Delusion.

There’s also the fact that this anime is based on a hit manga of the same name that’s serialized in Japan through Shonen Jump+. Fans can also read the manga in English in Manga Plus.

Crunchyroll Announces Kaiju No. 8 Simuldub Release

Many anime get English dubs, but the English language versions are typically released with a delay of a few weeks. Some shows get lucky and have simultaneous English dub releases, such as Delicious in Dungeon.

Now, it’s confirmed that Kaiju No. 8 is the next anime to get a simuldub release.

What’s more, aside from English, there will also be dubs in Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

All of these dubs will be released at the same time worldwide. The number of dubs seems to imply that this will be one of the biggest shows pushed by Crunchyroll this year.

Kaiju No. 8 English Dub Cast Revealed

Along with the simuldub release, the show’s main English voice cast has also been revealed. The cast includes:

• Nazeeh Tarsha (Lauda Neill in Gundam: Witch from Mercury) as Kafka Hibino
• Katelyn Barr (Anna Yamada in The Dangers in My Heart) as Mina Ashiro
• Adam McArthur (Kyle Salutania in The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent) as Reno Ichikawa
• Abigail Blythe (Miguel in Metallic Rouge) as Kikoku Shinomiya
• Landon McDonald (Matt Cugat in The Witch and the Beast) as Soshiro Hoshina

Kaiju No. 8 Release Date and Streaming Platforms

The first episode of Kaiju No. 8 will premiere on Crunchyroll on April 13 at 10:00 AM EDT / 7:00 AM PDT.

Aside from a Crunchyroll release, the show will also be streamed on X (formerly Twitter). This was announced a few months ago, to the surprise of many anime fans.
