Justice League Snyder Cut Really is 'Happening'

DC fans have been fervently petitioning for the Snyder Cut of Justice League for years.

Ever since the film premiered and flopped back in November 2017, fans have been following reports about Warner Brothers undercutting Snyder's work on Justice League by bringing in Joss Whedon and allowing major reshoots to dismantle the original director's intended narrative for the film. Though the petition for the Snyder Cut has never really resulted in the materialization of Snyder's version of Justice League, new reports suggest that the filmmaker's original cut of the movie is going to make its way to the public soon.

Taking to Twitter, Slash Film writer Peter Sciretta made the announcement by admitting that he was wrong about the Snyder Cut never getting released.

"I was wrong. It's happening," Sciretta wrote on a post on Twitter. "Bookmark this tweet for later."

While this post isn't an actual confirmation from Warner Brothers, Sciretta is a pretty credible source of information. Slash Film makes credible reports, so if Sciretta is saying that the Snyder Cut is on its way, then fans can probably expect Snyder's version of Justice League to finally release.

The only question now is when. There are rumors that Warner Brothers is planning to release the Snyder Cut sometime after the launch of HBO Max, the studio's brand new streaming service. There are even reports saying that the studio is planning to release a trailer for the Snyder Cut when they launch the site on May 27.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and wait and see.
