Megumi begs for Kirara to hear them out. Suddenly, Yūji is thrown out of the room. He tells Panda and Megumi to stay put. Hakari continues to blow hits, while Itadori doesn't resist and keeps standing back up. He says he'll listen to them as long as Yūji manages to keep himself standing. Kirara helps them out by telling Hakari to listen to what they have to say.
Hakari asks Itadori why he's placing his trust in him. He responds by saying that according to his senpai, he's strong. Hakari's punches are strong, regardless of the power put into them. He also tells Itadori that he has to prove himself to him. He calls him weak for simply following other peoples' orders. Itadori says he's a cog that jujutsu sorcerers need so they can get rid of curses. Hakari says that's boring and hits Yūji again. He stands back up, determined to get Hakari to help.
The look in Yūji's eyes and his "fever" manages to convince Hakari. They finally agree to form a deal. Despite still hating the higher-ups, Kirara says that Hakari's fever was at its peak when he was in Jujutsu High, helping out others.

Hakari and Kirara are finally updated on the past events that happened—specifically, Gojo being sealed, Principal Yaga's death, and Fushiguro being the head of the Zenin clan. The two of them are surprised to hear the news about Megumi.
A kogane (shikigami) shows up to announce a new rule in the Culling Game. There is also the introduction of a new character, Kashimo Hajime, who seems to be looking for Sukuna. It looks like it has been 400 years since the first appearance of this character. Based on the rules about points in the game, Kashimo Hajime has already gathered around 200 points. The new rule added to the Culling Game by this new character is regarding the disclosure of information about all the participants—a player's name, points, location, and the number of times a player used their points to add a new rule.
The top two players right now are Hiruguma Hiromi and Kashimo Hajime, who both have over 100 points. Megumi plans to add new rules to the game so that they don't have to kill people. Itadori's party now aims to look for the top two players for their points.
