Joker Begins Campaign For Donald Trump In New DC Title

It might sound odd, but it looks like the Joker is campaigning for Donald Trump in a brand new DC Comic.

Frank Miller's new one-shot comic The Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child features a brand new world where the Joker and Apokalips are trying to campaign for a character who looks o much like Donald Trump. DC Nation just recently released a preview image of The Golden Child for comic book fans, and in the picture, we get to see Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime wearing an American flag-themed suit standing in front of posters of President Donald Trump.

In the Frank Miller comic "The Golden Child," we get to see the new Batwoman Carrie Kelley teaming up with Jonathan Kent in a mission to stop Apokalips and Joker. The team is in a bizarre and unpredictable riff on the "World's Finest" combination where Jonathan Kent is still a toddler, although this time he posses the power of super-intellect to become what Miller describes as a "floating Buddha."

Trump's inclusion in the upcoming comic book might seem like a surprise to DC fans, but comic book readers all know that Miller is the type who doesn't really shy away from making a political stance in his comic book titles.

The US President's appearance in The Golden Child returns seems rather timely, however. Earlier this week, the President made waves when his campaign team decided to use a video of Trump as Thanos in order to respond to the petition to impeach the politician.

The Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child is currently available for pre-order.
