Here’s What Henry Cavill Could Look Like As Christopher Reeve’s Superman

Yesterday, Justice League and Avengers director Joss Whedon decided to take to social media to praise Henry Cavill's performance as the DC Extended Universe's Superman. Not only does the filmmaker call Cavill's Man of Steel the best version of Supes since Christopher Reeves, but he also claims that with the "right material" the Mission: Impossible – Fallout star could be even better than the legendary Superman actor.

Now DC fans can get a look of what Cavill might actually look like if he dressed like Reeve's Superman. Digital artist JSComicArt just recently put up a new post on Instagram, and in it, we can see Cavill edited on to Reeve. The editing isn't that magical, but the graphic artist tastefully sculpts the head of Cavill onto Reeve's Man of Steel body.

But the best part? That little hair curl that we've come to love Reeve's Superman for.

Check it out down here:

It's a good look on Cavill, though we're not quite sure when the actor is going to return to reprise his role as Superman. Warner Brothers isn't quite eager about Man of Steel 2. Right now the studio is busying itself with other projects including Shazam!, Wonder Woman 1984, Birds of Prey: The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn, and The Batman.

It's such a shame that Cavill's future is up in the air. Sure, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League might not have done so well, but a lot of fans like Cavill's Superman.

How about you? Do you like Cavill's Man of Steel?
