Game Of Thrones And Aquaman Star Jason Momoa Shaves His Beard In Shocking Video

Jason Momoa has had his beard for a long time and it had helped shape the characters he played on TV and films. However, the former Game of Thrones star has decided to shave off his iconic beard for a truly important cause.

Momoa posted the video on his official YouTube channel and revealed that he is shaving his beard in an effort to raise awareness about using aluminum as an alternative to plastics. The Aquaman actor is shown with canned beverages that turn out to be water.

"I think 2012's the last time I shaved," Momoa said. "Goodbye, Drogo! Goodbye, Arthur Curry."

"I just want to do this to bring awareness," he explains. "The plastics are killing our planet, and I think I have a solution. I don't wanna b--h about it. There's only one thing that can really help our planet and save our planet. As long as we recycle."

He then presents a solution: Aluminum. "About 75% of all aluminum that's ever been used is still in circulation today and it's 100% recyclable, so you drink the can and in about 60 days, it'll be back. 100% infinitely recyclable," Momoa adds.

"Let's clean up our oceans, our land. Join me on this journey. Let's make the switch to infinitely recyclable aluminum," he said.

Momoa has had his beard when he played Khal Drogo in the first season of Game of Thrones. The beard also helped mold his other characters Arthur Curry in Aquaman, Declan Harp in Frontier, and his new character Baba Voss in the upcoming web series See.
