Everything Ends in Teaser for the Watchmen Finale

We just had some big reveals with the past few episodes of HBO's Watchmen, but it looks like we're finally going to see what all of this is building toward when it comes to the last episode next week. Though we didn't get a promo after the credits, it has been officially released online.

If anything, it looks like we're finally going to find out how everything ends with Adrian Veidt in Europa. We've realized that he's actually been trapped on the moon and forgotten by Dr. Manhattan, and he's been jailed by the inhabitants of the planet for several years. There's a theory going around that he's actually the thing that crashes to Tulsa and is taken by Lady Trieu. I guess we'll have to find out in the next episode.

What's more, we're finally going to see how the Kavalry plans to turn Keene into his own version of Dr. Manhattan. The last episode actually had Jon explain that he could transfer his powers in a way, and it's likely that it could be a hint of what happens in the future.

Things look to be all neatly tied up when it comes to Watchmen, and I'm actually fine if this all ends up as one season. While I would like to delve more into it, I don't think a second season would be as intricate and as satisfying as what we've been getting so far. I kind of wish that we got a look at Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl in prison at some point, but I guess that's just shameless fanservice.

Catch the last episode of Watchmen when it comes out next Sunday on HBO.
