The hype continues as the return of Demon Slayer for Season 2 approaches. The anime forms part of the fall season and many fans are excited for what is in store for the show now that it has been revealed that the first half would have the Mugen Train arc and the latter would have the Entertainment District arc. To make it more thrilling, they finally dropped the opening and closing theme of the series, and it will be two sets!
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be having LiSA back as the voice of the opening and ending theme of Season 2 with the song "Akeboshi" as the one to grace the people upon the start of the show before following up with "Shirogane." Both of these will be on the first seven episodes of the series on the re-adaptation of the Mugen Train arc for television.
As for the Entertainment Districtarc, it will be having an entirely different opening and ending theme with "Zankyosanka" to start the show and "Asa ga Kuru" to end it, both sang by Aimer. This means that there would be two sets of themes for this season, one for each arc.
LiSA is not new to Demon Slayer fans and viewers. The opening and closing theme of the first season was her performance as well, with "Gurenge" even becoming a global hit. The song even had its moment during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as part of the closing ceremony.

If you want to refresh your mind with what happened in the first season, it is currently on Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu for those with an active subscription on the following online streaming platforms. The Demon Slayer movie is also a few weeks away from releasing its Blu-Ray and DVD copies. As for the manga of the anime, Viz Media has it available in both physical and digital copies.
Demon Slayer Season 2 will be gracing the small screens on October 10, starting with the television version of the Mugen Train arc, and the Entertainment District arc will be arriving in December.
