What Happened In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 3?
In Should Have Been ("Honto nara"), the Demon Slayers onboard the Mugen Train fall into a deep sleep after Enmu puts a spell on their tickets. While they sleep, the passengers who made a deal with the demon follow into their dreams to locate and destroy the Demon Slayers' spirit cores.
It doesn't take long before Tanjiro realize that he is dreaming but is unable to awaken despite Nezuko using her powers to sever the rope on his wrist. Tanjiro goes back into the forest trying to trace the intruder's scent and encounters his father's ghost. Tanjuro Kamado tells his son to draw his blade and Tanjiro does so in a desperate bid to escape his dream.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4: Will Tanjiro Die In His Dream?
It's pretty obvious that Tanjiro used his sword to cut his own neck in his dream. So does this mean the young Demon Slayer will also be dead in real life?
Dying in one's dream is actually an effective way to wake oneself up so Tanjuro's advice was a good one. By killing himself, Tanjiro is expected to be jolted awake and realize that he and his companions are in great trouble. Needless to say, we can't wait to see what he will do next in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4.
