With Titans and Doom Patrol proving to be successful for the DC Universe streaming service, fans are looking forward to other shows from the network, including Swamp Thing. Based on the 1970's DC character, this will be an R rated series that will focus on horror and is going to be totally different from the aforementioned shows above (hopefully).

Fans already know some of the cast and that it will be based on Alan Moore's terrific comic book run. Unfortunately, no official images or trailers have been released and we don't even know when this series will be coming out. However, this new set video from series director Len Wiseman should be enough to get fans attention since it does tease a creepy-looking swamp.

You could argue that all swamps look creepy at night but let's not get into that.

Considering the pedigree this character has in the comics, this show has a lot of hype to live up to. Thankfully, from what we've seen from Titans and Doom Patrol, this could end up being quality television. Hopefully, the writing is a little less awkward than the aforementioned shows, though capturing the needed tone and atmosphere is just as important.

As of this writing, there is no release date for DC Universe's Swamp Thing.
