DC Universe's Stargirl Gives Us Our Best Looks at Doctor Mid-Nite and Hourman

DC Universe's Stargirl will be coming out next week and fans of Geoff Johns' JSA run are intrigued, to say the least. While the show looks similar to The CW's DC shows, for better or worse, the effects look a bit better, and seeing its focus on younger characters is refreshing. While we wait for the show to come out, DC has released our best looks yet at Hourman and Doctor Mid-Nite.

Revealed by ComicBook.com, Hourman and Doctor Mid-Nite still look like dorky kids trying to pay tribute to their predecessors, which is a very good thing. We know a lot of people don't like it when teenage superheroes are in a team but how else will we get new characters to invest in? Hopefully, the two get some cool moments throughout the show, though everyone knows that Stargirl will be the main focus.

With the Justice Society of America, or JSA for short, playing a big role in Stargirl, it will be interesting to see how this affects the upcoming Black Adam movie, which will supposedly debut the DCEU version of this team. Getting familiarity from television audiences is still important since it builds interest for these characters, which can't be underestimated.

After a few years of waiting, we'll finally see Stargirl come to DC Universe on May 18. The show will then debut on The CW the day after.
