Ahead of Wonder Woman 1984's theatrical release, Diana Prince arrives early in the form of a comic book tie-in!

DC Comics reveals the special comic book tie-in to Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 1984 will feature two stories.

Titled Wonder Woman 1984 No. 1, the story sees Diana Prince deal with a hostage situation at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. This first story will be by The Death of Superman's Louise Simonson and the film's associate producer Anna Obropta, who will co-write a direct lead-in to the upcoming movie, as well as illustrations from Bret Belvins. The second story sees a villain attempt to steal Wonder Woman's lasso "for nefarious ends," from Steve Pugh and Marguerite Sauvage.

The issue's cover artwork will be by Nicole Scott, who worked together with Greg Rucka for the Wonder Woman: Year One story arc in 2016. Check out the preview below!

While DC fans will wait a little longer for Wonder Woman 1984 to arrive in theaters, it's nice to have a comic book tie-in to the film that prepares and hypes fans for what's to come in the movie.
