Joaquin Phoenix is earning lots of praise for his portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime and could very well be one of the fan-favorites, alongside Heath Ledger's. In fact, a cool new fanmade image shows the two iconic villains in a scene that was featured in Todd Phillips' Joker.

A fan under the username @gedogfx took to Instagram to show Ledger and Phoenix's Joker together in the subway where Joaquin was beaten up by three drunk men. Both villains are seen sitting down. Joaquin is laughing while Heath has his poker face on. The fan edited the photo really well, making it look as realistic as possible. You can check out the photo below:

Garnering over 16k likes, the fans seemed to have loved the artist's work. Some even made comments about both actors being "legends" and how they loved both of the actors' take on the villain.

Heath Ledger was known for his spectacular live-action performance as The Dark Knight's Joker. He has earned multiple awards for that role alone, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actor's Guild Award among others. Joaquin Phoenix is also getting acknowledge for his portrayal of Joker. With producers such as Vincent D'Onofrio and Jessica Chastain claiming that the actor deserves recognition for his performance.

Todd Phillips' Joker is now on its third week and it's going really good so far. The movie is set to bring in a huge profit which could put it side by side with what Avengers: Infinity War made on its premiere.

Even though it's a divisive movie, add the fact that it's a standalone film, the Joker proved to be a success and is well on its way to becoming the highest-grossing film of the year.

Joker is currently screening in cinemas.
