The jobs of anime voice actors don’t end after the recording process, as many actors are also singers and even models. One such VA is Chainsaw Man’s Pochita voice actor Shiori Izawa, who recently released a new NSFW debut photo book.
While the photo book was initially released on February 1, it was quickly sold out.
Because of this, a reprint announcement was made, meaning fans of Izawa who want to support her more directly can get one in stores soon.
Versatile Pochita VA, Shiori Izawa
Pochita may not have the most screen time in Chainsaw Man, but he’s still very much an important character.
Aside from being Denji’s only friend growing up, Pochita is also the reason Denji got a new lease on life.
While it seemed that Denji and Pochita died at the hands of the yakuza and the Zombie Devil, Pochita was able to revive Denji by becoming his heart. This also turned Denji into a hybrid, thus leading to the series’ events.
Pochita doesn’t exactly speak, but when fused with Denji, there were some moments when Pochita addressed him directly.
Izawa may not have had many lines as Pochita, but the moments that the Chainsaw Devil spoke were definitely memorable.
Aside from Pochita, Izawa also has other popular roles. For instance, she is the voice of Nanachi in Made in Abyss.
She played the character in the anime's two seasons as well as the Dawn of the Deep Soul movie.
Izawa also voiced Matsuri Mizusawa in Citrus, Azuki in Nekopara, and Argo in Sword Art Online, among other popular roles.

Shiori Izawa’s NSFW Photo Book
As with other voice actresses, Izawa also has other activities outside of recording dubs. Izawa is also a budding model, as proven in her debut photo book.
Entitled mascotte, this new photo book features several photoshoots of Izawa, with some featuring her in revealing outfits.
Photo books such as these are quite common among anime VAs, and they’re promoted by the actresses themselves.
After its first print sold out, a reprint was ordered, which will be released on March 10, 2023.
Orders can be placed via the infos web store, with the photo book priced at JPY 3,520 (around USD 26).
Each purchase of the photo book also comes with a lottery entry for an autograph session with Izawa on April 9. The deadline for entering the lottery is March 20.
