Black Adam Movie Will Reportedly Introduce JSA Characters, Including Hawkman

We're all pretty hyped up for Shazam but fans are also excited for the Black Adam movie starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson since that movie and casting was announced first. The Rock is the biggest movie star in Hollywood right now so knowing that he will be in a superhero film (or should we say an anti-hero film?) is pretty intriguing. Even more intriguing is this report claiming that we will see some Justice Society heroes, including Hawkman.

INCLUDING HAWKMAN!

According to The Hashtag Show, the new draft by screenwriter Adam Sztykiel includes roles for the Hawkman, as well as fellow Justice Society of America members Stargirl and Atom Smasher. Considering how Stargirl is getting her own series for DC Universe, knowing that she will be in a DCEU movie is also fairly exciting.

Most of us knew that Black Adam would be set in the past since it's going to tell the origin of the Shazam villain. However, the fact that JSA characters will appear could open the door for a spin-off film in the future, which could be fantastic. There are a number of great JSA runs that have spawned from the past few years so let's hope for good things.

Black Adam doesn't have a release date yet. Shazam comes out next month and looks to be another hit for DC and Warner Bros.
