There is little doubt that people are still hoping that Henry Cavill will eventually return as Superman in the future. But could we actually see a bearded Kal-El in the iconic black Superman suit? A new fan art has imagined what Cavill could look like in Man of Steel 2.
The fan art was created by digital artist spdrmnkyxxiii and has been shared on Instagram. Interestingly, it features Cavill with longer hair and a beard. Check it out below.
It's an amazing image that already has people hyped up for another Man of Steel. After all, fans are still hoping to see more of Cavill as Superman in the future. Although the Witcher star himself has already confirmed that he is ready to reprise his role as Clark Kent in more DC Extended Universe flicks, Warner Bros. has not yet announced the sequel.
The bearded version is understandably cool but you can also view a clean-shaven version of the fan art below.
Last year, fans were previously dismayed when several reports stated that Cavill will no longer play Superman due to negotiation problems with Warner Bros. In addition to that, the Justice League star somehow teased on the possibility with a strange post on Instagram. Nevertheless, Cavill has since confirmed that he is still set to return as the Man of Steel in the future.
