Attack on Titan Episode 86 Post-Credits Scene Revealed

The latest episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 was truly an exciting one as the alliance continued fighting the Yeagerists while trying to escape. Interestingly, Attack on Titan Episode 86 had an unexpected treat for fans who decided to watch after the credits. Instead of dropping the next episode's preview, there was a post-credits scene and it features an emotional moment between two fan-favorite characters!

The Attack on Titan Episode 86 post-credits scene opens with Hange Zoe telling her companions that they are headed for Odiha and that they will not be able to save Marley and Liberia. The news is devastating for Annie Leonhart, who announces that she wants off the ship.

Mikasa Ackerman quickly comforts Annie, urging her not to give up after everything that they have been through. This is when Annie asks Mikasa again if Mikasa will allow Eren Yeager to be killed in order to stop the Rumbling.

It's an emotional moment for two strong women in the anime and a welcome interaction between Mikasa and Annie. However, we are also wondering the same thing as Annie: Will Mikasa find the strength to kill Eren to save the world?

Attack on Titan Episode 86 also saw the demise of two important characters. In Retrospective, Theo Magath decided to stay behind on the dock while the rest of the alliance escaped. Magath then encounters Keith Shadis, who learns that Magath wants to stop a cruiser filled with Yeagerists from going after the alliance and decided to help him. As the two infiltrate the cruiser, they reflect on their past actions and introduce themselves to each other. They ignite the gunpowder stock on the cruiser, causing it to explode.

The next episode of Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 will not air next week. Instead, Episode 87 will air on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
